I am very pleased to make an announcement about a blog that I was hoping would come about. Jeff Fisher of Jeff Fisher Logomotives has started his very own blog called bLog-oMotives. Jeff has been a real inspiration when it comes to my desires to work for myself as a graphic designer. I first learned about Jeff on The Graphic Design Forum when I noticed his really constructive critique of someone’s logo. Jeff has a great approach to helping ANYONE that is looking for critique on their work. With so many other forums having sometimes overly harsh critiques it was refreshing to read Jeff’s posts.

I have read Jeff’s book, “Savvy Designer’s Guide to Success: Ideas and tactics for a Killer Career” and found it to have a lot of useful information. With my sights set on starting my own business in the near future this book gave me a lot of great ideas on how to approach things. This is definitely a book I recommend to anyone that is starting out in graphic design and/or is looking to start a business in graphic design.

I am really looking forward to reading this blog. It’s great to see that Jeff is going to be sharing in yet another way. Thanks Jeff and good luck!!
