David Airey’s Blog Gets Hacked
What a way to spend the end of your vacation!!? David Airey takes a month to head off to India only to have his website and blog hacked. Not only did he lose his domain name to the hacker but he lost all the work he did to move his name up in the search rankings for logo designers. It’s really ashame that people feel the need to ruin other people’s hard work. Of course this happens everyday in the real word so why should I expect any different in the virtual world. It appears that David was able to get his domain name back but I am sure others have not been so lucky. The following posts do a wonderful job of explaining what happened and giving advice on how you can prevent the same thing from happening to you. This is especially helpful in protecting yourself if you are a GMail user.
Warning: Google’s GMail Security Failure…
Coolective Effort Restores David Airey.com
David - I am glad to see you were able to get the domain back. Ah the power of internet networking is amazing. Congrats and keep up the great posts!!
