Designorati: Launch is Official
On Thursday, September 22, 2005 Designorati.com announced the official launch of their new blog network. According to the press release, this is “the first blog network exclusively for creative professionals, by creative professionals, and driven by passion.”
I found out about this site through another blog a couple of weeks ago and have been addicted to the site ever since. It is an awesome resource that I plan to keep tabs on.
The site has 9 core topics, each of which can stand alone but also collaborates nicely with the other topics. I spent time reading through some of the posts under each of the topics and found the topics of Graphic Design, Desktop Publishing, In-House and Strategy the most compelling.
Currently Designorati features nine Topics:

The founder and publisher, Pariah S. Burke, is the creator of Quark VS InDesign which I also read on a regular basis. He is known for many of his other blogs and if those show any indication of what is to come for Designorati, I think it is going to grow quickly into a strong source of information for creative professionals.
