Dreamweaver Gives GoLive The Boot
It has been confirmed that Dreamweaver will replace GoLive as the Web Design software available as part of the Creative Suite. Adobe will be releasing Creative Suite 2.3 around November 2006, just as the new Acrobat 8 is expected to be released. This means that the newer version of Acrobat will also be part of the CS 2.3 Premium package. According to a CreativePro.com article…
“The rest of the line-up will remain untouched until next year’s Creative Suite 3, which will include major updates to Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.”
It is also expected that Freehand will fall off the face of the design industry due to Illustrators strength as the vector based illustration software of choice. Honestly, none of this news is really much of a surprise.
