iTunes Phone to Debut
I have got to get one of these! What would be cooler than to rock out to your iTunes between calls from your clients? No more need for two different devices.
I was reading an article about the iTunes Phone and I will be interested to hear if you can download over your cellular connection or if you have to upload from your computer. I am also interested to see how big the hard drive will be. If they can fit as much as they have in the iPod Shuffle, I can imagine it’s going to be impressive.
The combination of Apple, Motorola and Cingular is bound to be a spectacular one. I am sure this device will be just as much a “WOW” as most of Apple’s other recent products like the iPod Shuffle, Mac Mini, the new G5 and the Mighty Mouse.
Apple will have a news conference on September 7, 2005 according to the article.

The new phone called MotoROKR from Motorola, is now available at the exclusive US carrier Cingular. This phone is the first phone to be incorporated with iTunes. You just hook it up to your Mac or PC and you can download up to 100 songs right to your phone. You are able to listen to the tunes through the included headphones or through the speaker on the MotoROKR itself. According to the website, “you can even pause the music when the phone rings, so you won’t miss any incoming calls.” This device is a bit pricey for my taste, at $249.99 but it sure looks cool!
